The Decatur County Solid Waste Management District sponsors a day of shredding for Businesses a few times a year. Be sure to check back often for more information and scheduled dates.

Shredding financial documents will not only protects a person’s identity, it also minimizes the space required by the waste. It will serve as the stopping point for those who need old checks or other documents destroyed.

Indy Shred’s Website explains the business has been around since 1994 using mobile shredding trucks to assist businesses with their data-destruction needs. The shredders cross cut the documents, removing the chance of potential thieves piecing them back together, the website notes.
